where did winter go

don't know if you follow national weather but we're in what weather people call a "warming trend" up here in the north of the northeast. 40's in january!! i can't frickin believe it. you can't tell me al gore was actually right. i refuse to give credit to the man who invented the internet for global warming.

right now we should be ass deep in snow building igloos snow people and sharks!! for the last 8 years i have been determined to build snow statue scene to rival calvin and hobbes

now that the turtles are old enough to actually get how much fun winter can be the weather screws everything up and turns all my snow into ice. AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGG!!!!

ok so it's not my snow and in all honesty i've procrastinated a few winters but still. i live up here for the winter. summer and i have an understanding, i won't complain about how hot it is as long as it tells winter to be nice cold and snowy for me. 

ok so i'm done being pissy. 

been passing time knitting and trying to find a pattern for a simple tunic style sweater but it's hiding from me. the hubs is ignoring my honey do list and we're getting ready for T3's b-day. what the hell do you get a 6 year old boy who already has every damn hot wheel and lego thing he can find?
